Minor Chord Progressions: Minor Progression Pattern Simplified

Chord progressions in a minor key tend to begin with the tonic chord, which is VIm in a minor key, then progress to several other chords within the key, then return to the VIm chord via the III7 chord (Figure 75 below):

VIm – [any number of other chords] – III7 – VIm
